Fatmata M. M. Legg, MPP, Sierra Leone Programs Manager, has extensive experience working on development programs and health implementation with NGOs, multi-donor organizations, and government. Prior to joining We Care Solar, Fatmata worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) on sexual and reproductive health in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Sanitations in Sierra Leone. She worked at the World Banks’s Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice division on the Sierra Leone Diaspora Investment and Trade Study and with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development with the Economic Policy and Research Unit in Sierra Leone. Fatmata holds a Bachelor of Art in Economics and Political Science from Butler University in the United States and a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Germany. Fatmata’s passion and vision for development, empowering the vulnerable populations, and addressing disparities in access and utilization of health services for mothers and neonates not just in Sierra Leone but globally aligns with that of We Care Solar.
